I received a MacBook for my 40th and was slightly disappointed to see there was not a place for my SD cards. I knew there was a solution somewhere out there, and low and behold, this is it! It’s perfect. Doesn’t take up any space at all. It’s as simple as sticking in the card and plugging it into the USB port and that’s it! Easy as can be. There really isn’t much more to be said other than, make sure to always eject before you just pull it out of the machine.

Really, what else can be said? It’s great. I love it. I’m a happy owner. :)

This was low priced & worked as I needed to to read my high capacity SD cards as my computer wouldn’t. Awesome Deal!

I’ve only used this reader with a Transcend 8 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS8GSDHC6 and it works fine. Much nicer than having to deal with the non-standard USB cable that came with the Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR. One of the times I tried to use it, it didn’t recognize the card. I had to remove and re-insert the card a few times before it worked. So I’m not sure this will be the most durable product, which is why it didn’t get five stars from me.

As noted by others, the cap comes off easily, so I wouldn’t recommend this as something to throw in your pocket as the cap will get lost.
