My camera broke and is being fixed. I have the memory card and I’d like to put those pictures on there onto my laptop. I have a memory card slot, where I slide in my PNY memory card. But, when I put it in, the light lights and then does nothing. Is there a program I need to do this? I’ve done it before, using my old memory card, but now I have this new one, and it never has worked? Any help?
I’m looking to either buy a new laptop or upgrade my old one (HP Dv5000 60GB & 12MB).
I want my laptop to run smooth and fast. I use photo editing and illustration software. I don’t want my laptop taking ages to open a browser or any other program.
What’s the recommended amount of memory I need to be able to that?
This is a problem that I am seeing in a laptop loaded with Vista Ultimate. What’s the problem ? Any one have the solution? Is it a virus problem or just a hardware flaw?

The pins on the front and back of a SODIMM are not connected…. More >>

I have had my laptop for two years with no problems but lately either the LED will go crazy and I’ll be forced to manually turn it off or when I turn it off voluntarily, it will not reboot. The A indicator flashes and then the computer turns back off. Someone at dell told me I needed to replace the memory but will that fix my problem? How long is memory supposed to last? Is there something I can do to prolong the end of my memories life until I recieve the new memory in the mail?
